Highlife Group were invited to support a charity event at Twickenham for the Princes Trust with a charity rugby match followed by a black tie event at the Natural History Museum in the presence of HRH Prince Charles.
The rugby match and black tie dinner were in aid of the Pakistan Flood appeal which is supported by the Princes Trust. The Rugby match was between an England legends and invitees XV against Te Commons and Lords XV.
The match was officiated by David Rose the premiership referee. Ex England international players were in attendance to make the game a very competitive affair with the England Legends XV just carving out a narrow victory in the last five minutes of play.
The evening event was held in the Natural History Museum with 500 people in attendance for a grand banquet. A silent Auction and Raffle were held with various prizes donated from number of sources including three from the Highlife Group. All in all a very good event which raised a huge amount of money for the charity.
The charity organisers and contributors (including Highlife) were presented with commemorative medals by the Pakistan ambassador at a separate event at the embassy in London.
